This is Rod Tookshaw, and man is he a pretty boy.
Rod and Hiram are the founding members of the group--they met at school as teenagers. Rod was a cool kid, kind of a jock type, and Hiram was a timid English exchange student who was a bit of a nerd. It's sort of like the book Christine, by Stephen King, I suppose (only the nerdy kid didn't end up with a demonic car)....
Anyhow. Rod was a popular guy, played on the soccer team, one of those types. He befriended Hiram in 8th grade, in gym class. Poor little geeky Hiram was one of the guys who never got picked for the team (or got picked last). Rod decided to stick up for Hiram one day when the bullies in the class were picking on him. The two ended up pals when they both discovered they shared an interest in rock and roll.
Rod is a cool dude, but not full of himself. He sort of reminds me a little of Eddie Van Halen actually. There may or may not have been an influence there
Anyhow. His middle name is Jupiter...the reason? Well here it is: In 6th grade (when I made these guys up) we happened to be studying Greek Mythology at that point. So there ya go.
And now, I am shuttin' up!
