Hey! I been so busy this week. The library is having an open house Friday night and they needed 13 posters (and they give me one week to finish them---GAHHHH!!!) ...

I have been breathing marker fumes all freaking week. And I gotta drive to Arizona Saturday! (well, Texas...but still)...

Man, people don't know, don't have the faintest idea what kind of work goes into this stuff. You know? I am killing my friggin' hand.

Okay, enough with the bitching.

Well, I didn't win one DD award

Not one!

I lost out to Super Temps in the Parody/Tribute category, to Shades in Traditional Art, and Skoolmunkee in Most Friendly DDer. The Holiday Doc lost too (I wasn't surprised at all on this one) to a comic called Hades.

Frankly I was in awe that the HD even got nominated under the Western category (even though I *did* list it under that). The story so far is taking place in the UK...they go to the American West eventually, but they haven't gotten there yet. That may or may not have had anything to do with it losing. Hell, who am I kidding? Hades is above and beyond anything I could ever imagine doing...I mean, the art just blows my mind.

Aw, well. I keep telling myself "Hey at least you were a finalist"....seriously, there are so many comics on there, many of them just blow mine out of the water--and many of those didn't even get nominated. So I gotta think of it that way. Right?



Hehe. Aw well...there is always next year...and Antcomics did get featured! YES IT DEEEEED!

Oh kay.

IN other news, kids, yer going to be happy little campers becuase I will most likely have another Compozerz page up before I leave!! How's that for exciting newz??? I had some unexpected free time (mostly due to insomnia) and cranked out page 37...so be looking for that soon!

This will probably be the last journal entry though. I mean, till I get back.
