...here's why.

I may not have as much time to draw (doesn't mean I'm quitting entirely, y'understand...just not gonna be producing as much art here fer awhile).

It's spring, it's warm (not too hot yet) and I have a long list of things I really need to get movin' on. Mostly they involve the exterior of la hacienda (a.k.a. my house). I need to go out and spiff it up a bit, y'know? I been pulling out a lot of stuff that has been planted there for years (mostly big ol' windy, gnarly ivy) and I want to put in a rock garden. I also just lost a major tree due to a storm the other day, so there's deciding what to do there (it looks awfully blank without the tree so I need to decide whether to plant another tree or do something else there).

So yeah. Homeowner shtuff. I also need new soffeting for the place; mine's rotten, so major job there. Gonna have some guys come in and do that and put trim around my windows. This will mean a darn near maintenance free home, kids!

Yeah yeah not exciting I know...but look at it this way. Less maintenance on anything means more drawing time for yers truly!

SO yeah. I'm not droppin' off the face of the earth or anything. Just have other things that are sort of taking priority over drawing. There are some more, but I won't bore you with any more o' that.

OH! OH!
Also...some vacations coming up too. Gonna get the heck outta here and see some sights.

One thing I look really forward to is doing up to the University of Kansas Natural History Museum and meeting my bud, who studies fossil fish. She's gonna show me around the place (plus I get to meet a DA pal in person! WOOO!)

Anyhow. There it is. If I don't comment enough or post enough or whatever, it ain't anything personal. Don't get yer feelings hurt. I am just a busy busy gal.
